Another movie that made me think that I should have been a Communication Arts student and not a Science Major. I love movies so few people like. I am weird that way. Haha!

Though it did not sell much in the box-office, and thus is not popular among many (probably because Orlando Bloom is not in a period costume or does not have elf ears in the movie, hehe!) I love love the movie!

It is reminiscent of Cameron Crowe's first film, Say Anything. He dealt with relationships other than the romance budding between two people. Relationships that are more important - among family. In Say Anything, John Cusack's character was instrumental in the girl's reconciliation with her father. In this movie, Kirsten Dunst was instrumental as well in Orlando Bloom's life journey - both in his failures and triumphs. Kirsten made an effort to guide him in re-examining his life and his relationship with the people around him. She helped him in the drive he took with the ashes of his father, a trip they have been planning but due to Bloom's character's busy life could not push thorugh. She gave him a renewed positive outlook in life - the life he thought of ending because of despair.

Kirsten acted in her signature Dunst acting, same style as in her other movies but ok na rin. Orlando Bloom, well he's not really a good good actor but pwede na rin. He slipped his British accent once in awhile though. His character is American. But he's still cute!!

I love Cameron Crowe. His movies are so full of heart and hope and love and LIFE.
